PUBLIC ANNOTATIONS

Public Annotations is a new addition to our Public Study  program that seeks to reorient curatorial and artistic research. An interactive online project, Public Annotations invites people to read and respond to key texts for upcoming shows via open-access PDFs. It combines collaborative reading, commenting, and synthesizing and invites you, the audience, into the process. This semester, the works included in Public Annotations explore themes of institutional research, racial capitalism, and erotic consumption. Each PDF serves as a living document, allowing multiple forms of knowledge to accumulate in one space over time.
