Topic Tour: Architecture + Watercolor

Drawing is a form of thought for ICA architect Steven Holl. Almost 40 years ago he began making 5″ x 7” watercolors, a format that is easy to travel with and enables him to quickly “shape a volume, cast a shadow, [and] indicate the direction of the sun.”

Join us on second Saturdays to explore the architecture of the Markel Center with a building tour followed by an open watercolor activity led by ICA Student Guides.
