As the ICA’s assistant project manager, Jaclyn McCormick, Senior Consultant with MBP, was tasked with overseeing the final stages of construction of the ICA’s home, the Markel Center. Join us for a behind-the-scenes discussion of the complexities involved in engineering and building the Markel Center.

Jaclyn McCormick has more than 12 years of experience in the construction industry and currently serves as a Senior Consultant at McDonough Bolyard Peck Inc. (MBP). She is a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) and a LEED Accredited Professional with a specialty in Building Design and Construction. Her expertise encompasses a wide range of project types including the construction and major renovation of courthouses, museums, and the modernization of historic structures. Ms. McCormick is a Director on the Board of NAWIC (the National Association of Women in Construction). She was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia and graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a degree in Architecture. Ms. McCormick was engaged as VCU’s assistant project manager and was responsible for the quality assurance, documentation, and construction management of the ICA.
