Drawing is a form of thought for ICA architect Steven Holl. Almost 40 years ago he began making 5″ x 7” watercolors, a format that is easy to travel with and enables him to quickly “shape a volume, cast a shadow, [and] indicate the direction of the sun.”

Join us as we explore the architecture of the Markel Center, learn more about the building, and enjoy an open watercolor activity led by ICA Student Guides.
