Started in 2018, Lyricist Lounge has been reviving cyphers and rap battles at venues around Richmond, and has quickly become a new right of passage for emcees in the area. Kicking off its 2nd season at the ICA, The Lounge provides the most authentic underground hip-hop experience in the city––a live event platform dedicated to lyricists, where old school nostalgia merges with modern design and social media.
