Opening Events // Fall 2018 Exhibitions
Tuesday, October 16 + Wednesday, October 17
Arriving on the powerful heels of Declaration, which concluded its 20-week run on September 9, six artists from around the world will make their Richmond debut at the ICA in mid-October. Provocations: Rashid Johnson and Hedges, Edges, Dirt will converge and diverge along discussions of power and vulnerability, visible and invisible boundaries, cultural heritage, and notions of self, place, and others. With these two distinct exhibitions, the ICA continues its explorative use of the Steven Holl-designed Markel Center, which invites creative configurations and distinct experiences with each new exhibition.
