In The Dark Presents: Perspectives (First Friday)
In The Dark Presents: Perspectives is a series of live audio performances that reveal how memory, identity, imagination, and language shape our vastly different experiences of the world. A hospital room becomes a zoo, pest control becomes political, a list of questions becomes a form of socio-political domination, all depending on perspective.
In The Dark is an international audio collective that celebrates stories told through sound.
Doors 5:30 p.m. | Show 6 p.m. in the ICA auditorium
This event takes place on the first Friday in November. First Fridays—when galleries and businesses stay open late on the first Friday of the month—are a Richmond tradition in the Broad Street Arts District. On first Fridays from September through December, the ICA welcomes all to linger from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. for evening art viewing, food trucks, student DJs from WVCW, and other exciting programming.
