The ICA, including the Abby Moore Cafe, will be closed from Friday, April 17 to Monday, April 20 for our annual gala, cafe hours will resume April 21. Galleries will reopen May 1 for MFA Thesis Round 2.

Operatika presents: Selections from Arias of Seduction
Painter Caitlin Cherry invites multidisciplinary artist Khadija Mbowe and their production company Operatika to present a groundbreaking performance blending opera with burlesque and pole dance art. Attendees may be part of a live studio audience. Happy hour starts at 6 PM with the performance starting at 7 PM. Space is limited; please RSVP.

About the artist:
Gambian-Canadian-American artist Khadija Mbowe (they/them) is a multidisciplinary artist, vocalist, educator and content creator. Khadija’s diverse musical repertoire encompasses opera, jazz, musical theater and original compositions. As a content creator Khadija creates enlightening video essays for their YouTube channel with over 36 million viewers.
