Join us for a lecture by exhibiting artist Morgan Bassichis. The lecture will highlight Basschis’s practice as performer who uses comedy to mark time, desire, disappointment, and collectivity through playful musical gestures. With deceptively simple and incantatory “little ditties,” Bassichis’s videos, performances, and writings approach urgent questions with critical curiosity, poetry, and pleasure. This lecture will accompany the artists solo exhibition More Little Ditties, on view at the ICA until January 7, 2024.
