MURRMUR: Evana Roman Poetry Workshop
What if our poetry is the answer to our prayers, like the promise of a prodigal spring –
If what comes next we cannot see in holding hands with our debris that blooms forth from eternity?
The ICA invites psychic medium and poet Evana Roman for a two-part poetry workshop in association with our current exhibition
MURRMUR: Blurs and Senses, curated by Assistant Curator of Commerce and Publications Egbert Vongmalaithong.
Artists are invited to bring in a work or idea that has been discarded but never forgotten. The workshop will introduce techniques to bypass the subconscious and invoke an intuitive awareness of in-progress works to bring clarity to any original piece needing to be reworked or preserved into new unique forms. Together we will recollect its meaning in discovery of what it asks to be.
This is a two-part series. Attendees should plan to attend both workshops. Both workshops will be held in the Community Media Center, on the 2nd Floor of the ICA building.
Space is limited to 20 attendees, please register here.
