Exploring Modern and Contemporary Art in Washington, D.C.

Please join us as we explore art in our Nation’s Capital! This overnight trip will include visits to the National Gallery of Art, the Hirshhorn Museum, the National Museum of Women in the Arts, Rubell Museum, and more! Our itinerary will include at tour of the National Gallery of Art’s Sculpture Garden with Molly Donovan, the museum’s Curator of Art, 1975-present, and a tour of the museum’s special exhibition The Anxious Eye: German Expressionism and Its Legacy with exhibition curator Shelley Langdale, Curator and Head of Modern Prints and Drawings. Participants will also enjoy a private evening reception with friends and alumni of VCUarts. Traveling with you will be Chase Westfall, Interim Executive Director of the ICA.
