Sound Bath Meditation
Julianne Swartz Museum of Art and design , Columbus Circle New York Oct 2017
Join instructors from Richmond’s bareSOUL Yoga for an exploration of the sound and vibrations in artist Julianne Swartz’s installation Sine Body. Partially inspired by Buddhist singing bowls, Swartz’s glass and ceramic objects produce sine tones or pure sound.
Sound baths use sonic vibrations to help shift you into a theta brainwave state, making it easier to experience deeper meditation and relaxation. Come experience art and calm your mind and body.
