Tending the Sacred Damage: Reflection on Relational Impact

Sunday, Nov 2

2:00 PM–3:00 PM

Unlock insight and connection in this guided workshop that builds on Lily Cox-Richard’s ICA exhibition Disquiet in the Sand.

Inspired by Cox-Richard’s work, ICA exhibition interpretation interns will guide visitors through a personal reflection on the concept of land, not only as a physical space but as an emotional, historical, and cultural terrain. This reflection will prompt participants to consider their own relationships to personal land—the spaces they claim, inhabit, or feel connected to—before transitioning into a facilitated group discussion centered on the often-unseen damage or disruption embedded within these personal spaces.
