Portrait of Johanna Hedva, black and white image with double exposure of Hedva's face
The ICA Presents: Johanna Hedva
ICA exhibiting artist Lily Cox-Richard invites writer, musician, and artist Johanna Hedva to the ICA for a special guest talk. For Hedva, Cox-Richard’s work provides a framework for conjuring that exists in parallel to their own poetic practice: “Lily speaks in the language of someone who understands how a sky can be on fire with color and then turn gray, and still the people underneath it persist.” Hedva’s talk at the ICA will build upon the ecological, astronomical, divinatory, and poetic frameworks that the two artists share in their understanding of the world.
Cash bar 6 p.m. | Talk 7 p.m.
