ICA Virtual Visits 5: ICA Shop

Our new Instagram Live series ICA Virtual Visits gives you a glimpse behind the walls of the ICA at VCU from the comfort of your own phone. Each week, we’ll interview curators, artists, community partners, and staff members, drilling deep into the art, ideas, and people that define ICA at VCU.

This week, we’re chatting with Egbert Vongmalaithong, ICA Assistant Curator of Commerce and Publications, about the relaunch of the ICA Shop as a publication-centric space with more than 200 unique titles, interactive programming, and a focus on writers whose work engages with mutual care, migration, and vulnerability. Egbert will walk us through some of the ICA Shop’s new inventory, and we’ll listen to a few selected readings from ICA staff members.
