Neo-soul singer and keyboardist

Singer and songwriter Calvin Brown began playing piano in church at the age of 13. He went on to graduate from Berklee School of Music, before touring the United States and Europe. He has performed at The Richmond Jazz Festival, and venues around the city, serving as a regular keyboard player for some of the area’s top acts, as well as fronting his own project. Calvin’s debut EP Dream, released in 2018, draws on multiple influences, blending jazz, soul, R&B, avant garde, and funk.
