Learn the art of storytelling.

The media center is a production studio and workspace that offers media education to the public for free. We are interested in all media, but we’re focused on podcasts. Here’s how we work:

Suppose you have a show, or an idea for one. You can book a time to meet with Chioke for some help with development.

We have a state of the art recording studio with four microphones. It’s a bring-your-own-computer setup, which makes it very easy to work with.

Suppose you’re a professor who’s been asked to do a guest spot on a podcast. Or you’re a student who needs to do a voiceover for a video or a class assignment. Or you have a podcast and you want to finally record in a professional studio. You can book our studio for an hour, bring your computer, and record everything you need to record.

We also do events. In the spring, we have online workshops featuring producers and editors on production skills.

In the fall, we host RESONATE Podcast Festival. This is a major ticketed event, featuring producers from around the country, from places like NPR, Radiotopia, and WNYC. It’s a two day event where you can learn production skills from working producers, and also network with people in the industry.

SCHEDULE TIME WITH US

Schedule time above to meet with Chioke I’Anson, learn how to use our equipment, or book our recording studio.
