On First Friday November 4, drop by the ICA for a chance to have your portrait taken in a studio led by photographer Naima Green in collaboration with VCUarts photo students. Known for her intimate photographs documenting Black and queer communities, Naima Green’s work has appeared in The Fader, The New York Times, iD, Vice, and on the cover of Bazaar and Time magazines. Her solo exhibition I Keep Missing My Water is currently on view at the ICA.

Here’s how it works:
Signups are in person only at the beginning of each session
Portrait appointments are first come first serve; space is limited
All sitters are required to sign a model release
Have your portrait taken alone or as a group of up to 4 people
Bring small props or other objects that have a special meaning to you
Allow 3-4 weeks for delivery of your portraits via email
