Exploring Modern and Contemporary Art in Washington, D.C.
May 16 – 17, 2024

Join us as we explore art in our Nation’s Capital! This overnight trip will include visits to the National Gallery of Art, the Hirshhorn Museum, the National Museum of Women in the Arts, Rubell Museum, and more! Our itinerary will include at tour of the National Gallery of Art’s Sculpture Garden with Molly Donovan, the museum’s Curator of Art, 1975-present, and a tour of the museum’s special exhibition – The Anxious Eye: German Expressionism and Its Legacy with exhibition curator Shelley Langdale, Curator and Head of Modern Prints and Drawings. Cuba: Art, Culture & History
In Support of the Cuban People
October 19 – 25, 2024

Join travelers from our fellow cultural institutions as part of this Museum Travel Alliance trip. With its vibrant art, beautifully preserved architecture, and energetic music and dance, Cuba will inspire you with its creative vitality. This October, join us in Havana, where we’ll have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness aspects of contemporary Cuba that few visitors see. Highlights include a curator-led tour of the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes de La Habana, where we’ll encounter the vibrancy of contemporary Cuban art, the chance to explore the homes and studios of some of Havana’s leading artists, and a reception and presentation of Cuban art with the President of the Ludwig Foundation of Cuba and local artists. Beyond Havana, we’ll venture into Cuba’s countryside. Traveling with you will be art historian, museum curator, and ArtCurious host Jennifer Dasal.
