Yoga instructor and performance artist

Owl Rare is a yoga instructor, herbalist, and performance artist. They lead workshops focusing on nutrition and mindfulness, and write a blog, Adventures with Owl, informed by their experiences as a queer non-binary person of color living in the capital of the former confederacy. They will perform an opening ritual for Rashid Johnson’s installation combining breathwork and flowing movement.
