The VPM + ICA Community Media Center kicks off its second year of podcast-focused programming with an in-person symposium featuring Nichole Hill, creator of the award-winning podcast The Secret Adventures of Black PeopleHill will give a talk on the use of fiction in podcasting.

ABOUT NICHOLE HILL
 
Nichole Hill is a senior producer at AQ Studios, producer at You Had Me At Black, and associate producer at The Truth podcast with Radiotopia. She’s produced for shows including The Colored Girl BeautifulOther Men Need HelpSnap Judgement and served as story editor for episodes of Invisibilia. She is the creator of the award-winning podcast, The Secret Adventures of Black People. Nichole lives in Washington D.C. in an apartment full of plants (which are spoiled), half-read books (which she plans to finish soon), and tons of DVDs (but no DVD player).
