agustine zegers: counter-cartographies of smell
This summer, ICA Shop presents a series of intimate live programming every Friday evening. Capacity for this event is 35, so please RSVP in advance. Don’t forget to join us for Happy Hour before the event! Complimentary refreshments from Soul n’ Vinegar and a cash bar will be available beginning at 4:30 PM.
Artist agustine zegers will guide a small group in an olfactory walkthrough the ICA with key stopping points. At each point, we will take notes and explore different facets of the scent produced for Doing Language : Word Work (called ind.must.y). Our time together is an ambulatory scent demonstration and an exercise in smell cartography. Clipboards with worksheets and pens as well as the QR code will be available to guests at the lobby and/or education area for them to ambulate at their own pace if they don’t participate.
