This summer, ICA Shop presents a series of intimate live programming every Friday evening. Capacity for this event is 20, so please RSVP in advance. Join us Friday, September 10 for an interactive evening of collective poetry reading led by Marcela Borquez.

People are invited to bring poems to read to the group. They can read their own work or poems written by others. This event is limited to 20 readers, and is open to the public.

Marcela Borquez is a Mexican cultural worker currently living in Richmond, Virginia. Her work brings together art and pedagogy to research and develop creative strategies for social engagement and collective meaning-making.
