mirror worlds

mirror worlds is the third and final in a triptych of iterative performances featured in the Traces of Ecstasy exhibition. Following the premiere in Lagos, Nigeria and a solo performance at the ICA in February, these multi-media performances center the African diaspora within the dynamics of African spirituality, queerness, and liberation. mirror worlds will be performed with collaborators Dale Ratcliff and Jamal Abrams.


About the Artist:
Raymond Pinto (b.1991) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Their work moves in and through the African and Latinx diasporas to contextualize practices of liberation.
